FMS and Paritor Seminars
Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:29AM The Federation of Music Services is working in partnership with Paritor Ltd to make sure that Music Services and other key organisations are able to collect and utilise data from partners across music education hubs.
FMS and Paritor are holding two single day seminars, on 5th and 6th March, to discuss in detail the statistics and information to be collected and exchanged across hubs between lead organisations, partners and the Arts Council. There will be a detailed look at Data Protection issues, the commercial implications of Partner Agreements, and the methods required to manage and collect data across the whole of a hub and the submission of statistics to the Arts Council of England (based on assessment requirements).
From September 2012, music education will be delivered by a national network of music education hubs. For the first time core activities have been defined and the work of hubs will be monitored to ensure that relevant delivery targets for all children are met.
Working closely with the FMS, Paritor has designed two ‘free to use’ pieces of software providing tools for hub partners to collect necessary data and for lead hubs to electronically collect and collate this data, analyse and submit to ACE.
